Happy 50th, Grandma and Grandpa!

Today is my grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary! We got together today to have a big party to celebrate. We ate yummy food and cake (because no party could be complete without it) and we topped off the evening by watching old family slides. We used to do that all the time when we were younger and now we're starting again. Fun stuff!

We tried pears today and I got the funniest reactions from Claire. When she had rice cereal, she didn't even flinch. But, apparently pears taste COMPLETELY different.

World's Cutest Valentine

I'm going to be extra cheesy and say that today being Valentine's Day has reminded me how much I am in love with this little girl. Can I just tell you how lucky I am to be Claire's mommy?

6 months old

Today Claire is 6 months old! Has it really been half a year already? We celebrated by trying solid food for the first time. She's shown an interest lately, so we thought it's about time. She loved it!

Claire and I were bored, so we decided to take some pictures. She went right along with it, it was so cute! She is so photogenic. Whenever I bring out the camera, she knows exactly what to do - she starts hamming it up!
