I took a photo shoot of Claire at my grandparents' property today. I love how enchanting the place is. On a warm spring day when the flowers are blooming and the aroma of orange blossoms fills the air, it's magical! Add an adorable baby to the mix and it's the perfect day!

Los Angeles Temple

Today I got the opportunity to go inside the Los Angeles Temple. As an adult, the only temple I've been inside is San Diego. The L.A. Temple is HUGE! It's the second largest in the world (besides Salt Lake City.) I felt like a kid in a candy store. It was so neat to go inside and marvel at the beauty of it all and then to walk around outside and take pictures. Battling Friday afternoon L.A. traffic was worth the trip. Enjoy!

We couldn't pass up the opportunity to celebrate St. Patrick's Day this year, so we had a party last night. Claire refused to go to bed; she wanted to be part of the fun.

Pirates of Penzance

Last night, we went to the Welk for opening/press night of...

It was GREAT! Oh my gosh, I was laughing so hard! I had rehearsed it during tech week this week, but didn't pay attention to what was going on onstage because I was concentrating so hard on the music. It's very symphonic, so it's right up my alley, but that also means it's FAST, so it takes a lot of concentration. My mom played tonight's show, so I got to sit in the audience. She'll play weekdays and I'll play weekends. So today's my first show. It closes May 2, so there's plenty of time to come see me!
