Tonight we went to a medieval/renaissance-type dinner. We dressed up in period garb and ate period food.

A Christmas Carol
Today I finished up the run of A Christmas Carol at the Welk. It was 8 weeks long and I shared it with my mom. It was a lot of fun, but I'm glad it's over. It's difficult to manage a full schedule of students, play 4 shows a week and take care of Claire. It will be nice to have some free time.

Family Visits
Aunts galore! First we had Aunt Liz and cousin Emme come to visit from Texas for a day. Then Aunt Holly came the next day from Utah and stayed for a week and a half. Wow, did we have fun!

Pictures
Well, I did some experimenting with smaller pictures and it looks like they're too small. Going back to the old size. And I just found out that there is only a certain amount of storage space for pictures on blogger, otherwise I have to pay for more. Any way around this? Is there something I'm missing?

Happy New Year!
We rang in the new year by watching old Disney movies and pigging out. I tried to put Claire down for the night, but she only slept for a couple hours and was up by 10pm. So, she celebrated with us. We didn't have access to tv, so we tried to find live feed of the ball drop online. None of us really searched that hard until we realized it was 11:45 and we still hadn't found it. So I did some research and found a site that would provide it. Only I didn't find it until 11:58. It was at that point that we decided we probably should pour sparkling cider for everyone to have a toast. As everyone is frantically preparing the toast and I'm frantically trying to access the live feed, it turned midnight. It was kind of pathetic, but really funny. Then we ran outside and yelled at the top of our lungs (while Lorraine blew a war horn.) I love a good excuse to yell outside in the middle of the night.
