The baby is healthy and doing great! I am calculated at 17 weeks, 3 days (not 15 like originally predicted) and my due date has been moved up from August 22 to August 5! We are sooooooo excited!!

Congratulations, Jordan!

I am now officially the proud sister of an Eagle Scout! No, it's not like I wasn't proud before... it's just that now Jordan is an Eagle Scout and I am proud of him. Tonight was his Eagle Scout Court of Honor and it turned out very nice. The presentation was beautiful and the food was yummy. Congratulations, Jordan!

So I waited for Grandpa Gray to come back and Grandpa Button thought the picture was about him :)

Happy Valentine's Day

This year we celebrated Valentine's Day by having a family dinner yesterday at Souplantation and receiving yummy treats from Mom and going to see opening night of Scarlet Pimpernel at the Welk (which was REALLY GOOD, by the way.)



Douglas and I are not into the whole spoil-each-other-on-Valentine's thing, although we both celebrate the holiday and try to do something special. I bought us some caramel- and chocolate-dipped pretzels ahead of time (which were SOOO yummy) and they were delivered on Valentine's Day. And it supported girls camp, so that was an added bonus.



Today, Douglas and I decided to drive down to Old Town and spend Valentine's Day there. We visited his sister, Meredith who works there, ate lunch together at O'Hungry's and the three of us enjoyed some ice cream. It was a lot of fun and we were exhausted by the time we got home.

Heartbeat

Today I got to hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time! It just really made it a reality. I have been on cloud 9 all day!

There's something there. But I've got a long way to go. :)

200 Days

ONLY 200 days left? Sheesh, this is gonna take forever. My pregnancy is going really well. I'm already starting to show, but I'm in the fat stage... you know, when you see a lady on the street and you can't tell if she's pregnant or fat? Yeah, that's me. I haven't had any morning sickness, just afternoon "blahs" and lots of tiredness and increase of appetite. All in all, I'm very happy to be pregnant and I'm trying to be patient and enjoy this pregnancy because I'm very anxious to hold my baby in my arms right now. I'm almost done with my first trimester - yay!
