We have a new niece! Destiny Rose was born today at 4:12pm weighing 7 pounds, 5 ounces and 19.5 inches long. She was born with a complication so she is being transferred to Children's Hospital and going in for surgery on Tuesday. We hope and pray all goes well. Destiny is our second niece born in the last few months. Emmelyn Deborah was born on December 25, 2008 at 12:11pm weighing 6 pounds, 10 ounces and 20 1/2 inches long. The three of us (Liz, Douglas' sister and Heidi, Douglas' brother's wife and I) were all pregnant at the same time. We announced our pregnancy minutes before Emme was born. Now, Destiny is here, too! I'm next and am anxious to bring the third girl cousin into the world! What fun we will have when we can all get together and let our precious little girls meet. Since Liz lives in Texas and Heidi lives in Utah, we hardly get to see each other. This will be a great excuse for a family reunion!
UPDATE: Destiny is doing very well and recovering quickly! Yay!
